Just a brief note to say thank you for the work you did producing the visualizations on Springvale with a short timescale. We had a meeting with the council yesterday and they definitely had the desired effect and hopefully the council will now allow us to proceed with the scheme.

In the early stages of a regeneration programme, we understand that you won’t always have architectural plans for us to work from. It’s likely that the vision will be short on specifics, focussing instead on broad strategy. Nonetheless, you will probably want to start creating imagery that reflects the vision, even at this early stage, to help communicate with consultants, communities, colleagues and investors. We will therefore work closely with your team, firstly to devise concept sketches, and then to bring these to life as realistic 3D visualisations. Throughout the work, our focus is on visualising a better quality of life - thinking about what people will be doing, seeing and feeling in the redeveloped spaces.
At iCreate, we put forward a phased process that we hope ties in with the evolution of your regeneration programme, whereby our Artistic Concepts and 3D Visualisations will evolve over time, to develop into the fully-fledged vision.

Initially, we will meet with you and review all the documentation surrounding the regeneration proposals, to familiarise ourselves with the objectives, opportunities and priorities of the project. From here, we’ll work closely with your team to develop artistic concepts in the form of sketches and artists impressions. These initial sketches will help to confirm that we understand your vision, before we progress with any 3-dimensional modelling. It may be appropriate for us to work with your urban designers at this stage, and we are always happy to collaborate closely with any third party consultants or team members.
The next stage will usually be to ‘block in’ the proposed structures in low detail 3D modelling, and produce preview imagery ready for discussion amongst the regeneration team. At every stage in the development of the graphics, we will be keen to receive your feedback and input, to ensure the visuals are truly reflecting your distinctive vision.
We will add increasing levels of detail and life to each iteration of the 3D modelling as the project progresses, resulting in highly realistic imagery – both static images and 3D flythroughs. We understand that vibrant and revitalised public realm is often a core part of the regeneration framework, and we’re experienced at delivering visual solutions that evoke a sense of the ambience and atmosphere that you envisage for these areas.
Our process includes numerous opportunities for your team to have input and to give feedback on our work. Overall, we aim to offer a flexible service that feels more like working with colleagues than consultants. We’ll respond to your changing needs and offer our best advice whenever it’s required.
Our work with you is much more than just creating the imagery. We want to help you publish and present the vision, through print, web, and multimedia channels, in ways that truly engage with all types of audience.

The possibilities for presenting 3D models are expanding all the time. At the moment we're particularly excited about interactive animations, where the viewer - or 'user' - is able to control their own viewing experience. Whereas a 3D flythrough takes the viewer on a pre-determined, 'staged' journey around a new development, 3D realtime technology makes it possible to self-navigate around the 3D environment, interact with the scene and explore it according to your own particular interests - a powerful way to empower the viewer and give a sense of ownership.
Combine interactive 3D animations with the kind of 'real 3D' viewing experience offered by the Avatar movie, and suddenly you're engaging in a whole new way, maximising the opportunities offered by advancing technology.
You may also want to gather reactions and feedback from your audiences, to find out what people think about the proposed vision. This is a crucial part of the public consultation process, and it's an important step towards getting people to engage with the process of regeneration.
We design bespoke solutions for collecting opinions, including online surveys, voting polls, moderated discussion forums and even video booths, where the public can voice their opinions to a camera. Such quantitative and qualitative responses could be of great value to you in moving the regeneration programme forward.
If you've read about our approach and think there might be an opportunity for us to work together, it starts with a conversation. Why not give us a call to talk through some options, or send through a copy of your Strategic Framework document to get the ball rolling?
