We produced CGIs and a flythrough DVD to be used as marketing materials for this development in Bangladesh, to present to investors and backers.
Arriva Trains Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government have announced a major renovation of Swansea Railway Station.
Our client for this project was the architect of this commercial and retail development in Merthyr.
When I called iCreate about our upcoming marina concept for Saint Petersburg and told them we needed a fly-around, 3D stills and a brochure in 6 weeks! they did not hesitate to pull out all the stops to meet our deadline. The design and concept grew and indeed changed a good few times within...

For those of us that find architectural drawings difficult to interpret, 3D visualisation is the solution, making it easy for everyone to understand the vision at a glance.
Working from your architectural drawings, we create accurate and detailed 3D models of new developments, including realistic surface materials and hard and soft landscaping. We are happy to work from hand drawn plans or CAD files, though our preference is for digital.

Once we've got a completed 3D model of your development, the next stage is to apply realistic surface materials, lighting and landscaping to the scene, to add realism and detail. We work closely with our clients to gather a detailed specification for all these elements at the outset of the project, so that we know what every detail of the picture should look like.
For internal spaces, we create the interior decor to match your specification. We have an extensive library of interior items which is adequate for most projects, but if your interior calls for something special or bespoke, we will build the furnishings and fixtures from scratch. Again, we ask that you provide a finalised interior specification at the beginning of the project, so that our team can focus on creating beautiful imagery of each internal space.
We then submit a set of preview images of the 3D model so that you can confirm the colours, materials and details before we proceed with final rendering.
In the language of 3D computer-generated images (CGI), the term 'rendering' refers to the process of outputting the final images and animations from the completed 3D models. Substantial expertise goes into optimising each scene for rendering, and carrying out render tests to ensure every detail looks as it should. Once we're happy that all the settings are right, we hit "Render" and from this point, the computer hardware is doing the work to process the imagery.
For static images, rendering involves choosing the camera position and then 'taking a photo' from that viewpoint. We can usually deliver a selection of images of the 3D model from a range of camera angles, without incurring significant extra work.
For flythrough and walkthrough animations, rendering involves defining the camera path around / through the 3D model (we usually submit a draft version of the camera journey for client approval prior to final rendering). Our rendering hardware then outputs 25 frames for every second of playback, which we then assemble to form the final animation.
